The Villages of Park Forest, Matteson, and Olympia Fields each know the value that transit infrastructure provides for their businesses and residents.  Maximizing that value is evident in their collaboration to drive implementation of the 211th Street Station Area Plan.  Defining market supportable uses, ensuring that regulations in each municipality are supportive of the collective vision, and incorporating sustainable design into both the public and private portions of redevelopment projects will serve the municipalities in achieving their vision for this key transit asset.
