County Farm Road Transit Plan

 
Transit by its nature has to meet the needs of a large diversity of users/riders. This is especially true when the service extends through demographically diverse communities along a 10 mile corridor. To ensure representative interest, participation by 6 municipalities and the regional transportation authority was included. These participants oversaw the transit analysis, encouraged participation by their constituents, concurred on the recommendations, and secured support of their municipal leaders as emissaries of the Corridor Transit Plan initiative. Participatory engagement has positioned these entities to secure needed implementation funds to move the improvement recommendations forward.
